Performance Measures, Indicators and Details

Alaskans expect government to address a wide range of priorities, such as economic development, education, public safety, and transportation. Residents also expect a focused, effective, efficient government. 
 

Performance is the tool the Administration uses to set goals, measure progress, and be accountable to Alaskans for getting results that matter.

The State's Performance Framework includes:

  • State Priorities - State government's main concerns.
  • Department Priorities - Agency's main concerns.
    • Associated Funding & Positions - Current year funding and positions.
    • Department Key Performance Indicatiors - Measures citical to the agency's success.
  • Performance Detail
    • Mission - Consistent with statutory authority.
    • Core Services - Core activities/functions to accomplish missions.
    • End Results - Planned goals or achievements.
    • Strategies - Planned actions to achieve End Results.
    • Targets - Targeted results, identified individually for End Results and Strategies, against which to measure success.
    • Status - Statements of our current level of success in meeting targets.
    • Analysis of Results and Challenges - Data and analysis of current results and barriers to achieving success.
