While it is not difficult to determine how many critical cybersecurity incidents happen each year, understanding what those numbers mean takes more context. These serious events are usually very visible, and while OIT has done a good job keeping them to a minimum, cyber threats are constantly evolving. OIT and the State Security Office work diligently to protect systems and respond quickly, but since they don`t control all the state`s IT systems, success truly depends on everyone doing their part.
