Provides a wide range of services to support effective and efficient communication.

• Administration, management, and support for Enterprise Applications: Messaging & Directory Services, Web Services including credit card processing, myAlaska, electronic signature, and SharePoint.
• Administration, management and maintenance of the State"s enterprise IT infrastructure that includes the Wide Area Network (WAN), Mainframe computing platform, the State Private Cloud (the multi-tenant secure hosting platform), and facilities.
• Core Telephony (Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks) Internet Protocol (IP) phone system; Microsoft Teams Phones; Mobile Device Management; Audio & Video conferencing; Secure Network Services; Virtual Private Network; Internet & Wireless connectivity; and call center platform services.

Target #1: Information technology data and communication systems are available 99.999% of the time with no unscheduled outages. Methodology: Formerly called the FlexPod, that service is now known as the SOA Cloud. Also, with specific regard to the mainframe reporting, the number above for FY2015 is an aggregated average of mainframe components uptime so as to fit within the current table. This is attributed to OIT`s dedication to provide a stable environment to manage and exchange data within, and providing responsive support of our infrastructure systems. Outside of planned outages and scheduled maintenance, there was only a temporary decline in ‘Non-Hub` due to a fiber break in northwest Alaska that occurred June-September 2023.
