Analysis of results and challenges: The increase in the number of permits from 2023 to 2024 reflects what the Section has seen in the additional funding going to projects that would require a Fish Habitat Permit.

Analysis of results and challenges: These statistics indicate that the Fish Habitat and Special Area permits are issued in a timely manner. The recent slight fluctuations in timing can be attributed to the level of complexity of the proposed activities.
