Though not yet back to pre-pandemic numbers, UAA represents 57.6% of the total unduplicated headcount across the UA system in 2023. Support from the legislature and the governor are key to continued growth. UAA`s efforts combined with support from the UA system president and the State are turning around an enrollment decline that reflected economic uncertainty in the state, the impact of the pandemic, demographic shifts in high school graduates, and national trends playing out at regional public universities across the country.
