Performance Detail
Priority 1: Preserve Alaska`s Transportation Infrastructure |
Priority 2: Operate Alaska`s Transportation Infrastructure |
Target #1: Average time per event to achieve performance target for each priority level (1,2,3,4)..
In FY2023 Northern Region chose to contract out several priority 3 and 4 roadways within the Fairbanks District allowing department staff to focus more attention on priority 1 and 2 roadways. Since Fairbanks District is the only district with priority 1 roadways this showed immediate improvement on these routes and the large drop in response times from FY2022 to FY2023. The deparment has seen a general downward trend in response times for priority 2, 3, and 4 routes which is most likely due to the reduce average of snowfall per event. Target Last Modified: 12/12/2023 |
Target #2: Percentage Target Condition was achieved within Time Goal..
A maintenance station may have multiple road priorities in it"s district which corresponds to the number of performance targets it needs to meet. This performance measure compares the number of targets achieved to the total number of targets and produces a performance response percentage for winter operations. Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Priority 3: Modernize Alaska`s Transportation Infrastructure |
Target #1: Average project development time from project initiation to bid..
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #2: Average of Engineer"s estimate over the low bid..
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #3: Comparison of planned capital program dollars with delivered capital program dollars..
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #4: Design Costs over Construction Costs at Award..
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #5: Final Project Costs Over Project Award Cost..
Increases in the reported measure for FY2023 are directly related to Construction Manager/General Contractor (CCM/GC) projects with initial award values, and subsequent work packages. Removing CM/GC projects brings this measure into alignment with past reported numbers. Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #6: Project Awards Versus Project Closeouts..
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #7: Construction Engineer Costs Over Contractor Payments..
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Priority 4: Provide Transportation Services |
Target #1: On time departures (AMHS).
Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Target #2: Fare box recovery rate (AMHS).
AMHS revenues for FY2020 were significantly lower than previous years due to the Inlandboatmen"s Union strike and the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in vessels being out of service longer than expected. Target Last Modified: 11/10/2023 |
Priority 5: Shared Services |
Target #1: Achieve $5M in annual energy savings through energy efficiency projects by the year 2022..
Target Last Modified: 11/15/2023 |
