Analysis of results and challenges: 2017 number due to 60% turnover to service officer corps In 2019, Veterans Services increased outreach visits through a partnership with the local VA. This was a combined effort, which was well received. In 2020, Veteran Services saw a decrease in rural travel due to limited budget for travel followed by the pandemic travel restrictions that began in March 2020. Locations visited: Anchor Point, Clear, Craig, Delta Junction, Fairbanks, Fort Greely, Glennallen, Homer, Juneau, Kenai, Kenny Lake, Ketchikan, Klawock, Kodiak, Nikiski, North Pole, Seward, Sitka, Soldotna, Valdez.
